Machine picking definitely has its advantages….
Each year brings its challenges, and each year it is a great relief when it is all over and on its way to the winery for the second part of the magic……. making it into wine.

We did get a gang in for a lot of the handpicking, but this is the ‘A Team’ here that picked the last of our grapes. Exciting things ahead as for the first time ever there was enough Grenache for us to make a small batch……. watch this space if you are a Grenache lover.
And just like that, the leaves are starting to turn again and before we know it, they will be dropping, and it will be time to prune. So, the cycle continues…………
