Like many other business, Miners Ridge has had to adapt to the restrictions in place and closed both our cellar door and Bed and Breakfast to visitors and guests. While visitors have not been able to come and have the vineyard and wine experience we like to offer, they have been able to purchase our wine and produce directly from us with the creation of our online store.
We are a relatively unknown brand out there in the big wide world of cyberspace selling our products alongside well known established brands. We have been humbled that people have chosen to support us. From our return customers who have tried our wines before, and those of you who have taken a punt and purchased our wines without tasting them, thank you all.
Miners Ridge Produce
During our time of shut down we have been busy increasing our Miners Ridge produce range and stock levels. Our vegetable garden and fruit trees did not know that it was time to slow down, and kept producing. We now have a large range of products that can be purchased individually or packaged up into a hamper. This has been one of the great things about isolation, having to time to begin my very own small passion project. I love nothing more than harvesting produce from our own property and taking it to the kitchen to make something that can be enjoyed the whole year round. I am excited to be able to offer this people to enjoy as well.
COMING OUT…..
So, what will Miners Ridge look like on the other side of COVID? We are not sure yet, are you? What we do know is that the opening of our cellar door will have restrictions. We may not be able to host groups of people together for some time. We are only small and like to offer our guests a personalised experience so this will work well for us and hopefully our visitors as well. When we are given the ok we will be open by appointments to ensure we follow the guidelines around numbers of people in a venue at a time. We can assure people that our cellar door will be a safe place to visit and, we will be very excited to welcome guests back.
Bed and Breakfast
Our Bed and Breakfast remains closed to travellers until advised otherwise. We will be subscribing to Airbnb’s Enhanced Cleaning Initiative to ensure the safety of our future guests. Milo and Patty (Dog and Cat) are very much looking forward to guests returning again, as are we.
