2022 Merino Block Riesling – $25/bottle
Picked a bit later and fermentation stopped earlier this wine suits those people with a slightly sweeter palate. This is a VERY easy to drink wine, perhaps a bit too easy!
2021 Riesling – $25/bottle
More typical of the Grampians styled Riesling it is delicately floral, in white flowers and in citrus, lime zest, green apple and light spice. A very classy wine and worthy of the trophies and medals it has collected.
2021 Viognier – $25 / bottle
An aromatic, expressive white wine showcasing the rich, floral essence of the viognier varietal. This wine is best enjoyed with seafood or Asian dishes. If you are planning on a seafood Christmas meal, I recommend giving the Viognier a try.
2021 Chardonnay – $25 Complex fruit, bright crisp finish, leaving your palate refreshed and ready for more. Only a small amount left you will have to be quick to get this one…… 2022 will be released soon.
2022 Rose’ – $25 My new favorite! This Rose’ has brought me back to a variety I had turned away from for a long time. Made with 100% Shiraz grapes that were picked late, it has a nice fruit driven sweetness and complexity to it with a bit more depth than what I remember Rose’ having. All this wine needs is sunshine!
2021 Shiraz – $25 Drinking well now as a young wine, with lots of cellaring potential. It is all there as a typical Grampians shiraz, lots of white pepper, spice and all things nice. Roast beef or lamb on the menu……perfect match!
2021 Tempranillo – $28 This medium bodied red is perfect for those who want a nice red that you can just “drink and not overthink”. It’s all about the fresh red fruits. This one will go well with anything, but particularly tapas styled food or even Mexican. Chill it a bit if we end up getting some warmer weather!
2019 Cabernet – $25 Red cherry and blueberry dominate with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Pronounced oak tannins. Now nearly 3 years in the bottle, this wine is drinking better than ever. A perfect wine with that pre-Christmas party BBQ.
